For more complicated cases, we may use a combination of arch expansion devices which are used to create space. This may then followed by a course of clear aligners to gently guide the teeth into place.

More complex cases may take slightly longer but are by no means impossible!

What is a Clear Aligner?

Clear Aligners (also known as Clear Braces, Invisible Braces and Invisible Aligners) have become increasingly popular in recent years. 

Clear aligners are invisible and are used to treat the teeth you see when you smile. The clear aligners are a perfect alternative to other braces - they are comfortable, convenient and there is no need for brackets or wires.

The aligners are made out of wafer thin clear plastic and are manufactured especially for your teeth. They should be worn in a series of two week periods and they gently align the teeth to their desired position. The clear aligners are perfect for you if your teeth are overlapping, crowded, if you have spaced teeth, or for teeth which do not need more comprehensive orthodontic treatment.
